Ashmari is known to mankind since times immemorial and it is a most common disorder of the Mutravaha Srotas. As per classics, Ashmari is included in Ashtamahagada due to its fatal nature. Ashmari or Urolithiasis is a painful & common disease of the urinary system. It is the third most common affliction of the urinary tract, exceeded only by UTI and BPH.
