EVALUATION OF HYDRO-ALCOHOLIC EXTRACT OF PORTULACA OLERACEA SEEDS AGAINST D-GALACTOSE INDUCED ATTENTION DEFICIT HYPERACTIVITY DISORDER MODEL ON SWISS ALBINO MALE MICE

ABSTRACT

D-galactose accumulation in brain is one of the major cause for neuronal cell death. Thus the objective of the
present study is to evaluate the hyperactivity reducing and cognitive improvement effect of Portulaca oleracea
seed extract against D-galactose induced Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in Swiss albino male mice.
Portulaca oleracea seed extract was a highly efficient for treating ADHD and also less toxic.
