Abstract
SYNTHESIS, CHARACTERIZATION AND BIOLOGICAL ACTIVITY OF SOME SUBSTITUTED AZETIDINONE DERIVATIVES

ABSTRACT

A noble series of substutied azitidinone derivatives can be synthesized by the cyclocondensation of different Schiff bases with chloro acetyl chloride. Different Schiff bases can be synthesized by the condation of Substituted aromatic aldehyde with substituted anilene. the newly synthesized compound were characterized by IR, 1HNMR spectroscopy and tested for their promising biological activity i.e. anti-inflammatory activity, anticonvulsant activity.
