Abstract
IN VITRO ANTI-INFLAMMATORY ACTIVITY OFAQUEOUS EXTRACT OF TINOSPORA CORDIFOLIABY HRBC MEMBRANE STABILISATION

ABSTRACT

The drug was obtained from dried leaves extract of plant Tinosporacordifolia belonging to family menispermaceae. having a good anti-inflammatory activity. As the drug is herbal preparation it gives same result as that of synthetic drug but it having less side effects. an anti-inflammatory activity of plant can be demonstrated in lab by studying haemolysis of human red blood cell (HRBC) with extract and compare the results with standard drug. It reduces the haemolysis of RBC and inhibit the release of various inflammatory factors.
