EVALUATION OF TREATMENT IN ADULT PATIENT WITH HODGKIN LYMPHOMAS, (LOW RISK, INTERMEDIATE AND HIGH RISK GROUPS), TREATED AT RADIATION AND ISOTOPES CENTRE OF KHARTOUM (RICK)

ABSTRACT
Background: Hodgkin’s lymphoma is considered as a curable cancer. Since its discovery, continuous progress was achieved, in diagnosis and management. The aim of this study is to management compare complete remission in chemotherapy to combined management modality in each group, and in all patients. Methods: This study was performed among 84 Hodgkin’s including all groups, low risk, intermediate and high risk group lymphoma patients, in the age of ≥18 years who received treatment at radiation and isotope centre of Khartoum from year 2013-2016. Data was collecting usinh a well structured questionnaire from: Medical records, direct interview of patients and interview of responsible personnel. Analysis of data was done by Statistic Package For social Séance program version 19. Results: Comparison of chemotherapy to combined management treatment in the low risk group (favorable & unfavorable) and in high risk group showed no significant difference between two treatment modalities, also comparison between two treatment modalities in all patients revealed no significance difference. Conclusion: There was no significance difference between the chemotherapy and combined treatment modality in low, intermediate and high risk groups.
