ABSTRACT
Nanoparticles are microscopic particles smaller than 100μm. Nanoparticles was synthesized using various metals. The study completed with synthesis of nanoparticles using papaya leaves extract and silver nitrate. The nanoparticles synthesized with silver nitrate was preferred for numerous applications. In the present study papaya leaves was used as herbal medium. Papaya leaves has pharmacological and medicinal properties. After addition of 1mM AgNO3 in papaya extract, the extract becomes brown indicates synthesis of nanoparticles. The nanoparticles was synthesized by using incubation process. The synthesized silver nanoparticles was confirmed by taking absorption on spectrophotometer. The synthesized nanoparticles was showed good effect on seed germination rate and nodule formation, and the synthesized nanoparticles was showed countable antimicrobial activity against gram negative organism and fungus.
Keywords: Nanoparticles, synthesis, metals, seed germination, nodules, antimicrobial activity.
