THE ERA OF PLANT BASED MEDICINE- AN OVERVIEW

ABSTRACT

The present work is an overview of the important aspects relevant to the traditional plant extracts of biomedical application. The present era is facing so many challenging scenario in treating many dreadful diseases especially neurodegenerative and infectious diseases. Besides their disease fighting abilities, their use as immunomodulators is the quest of current times. From the overall studies so many beneficial landmarks regarding the medicinal relevant plant extracts is made and it is to emphasize that the more and more investigations should be opened to unravel their natural components to be beneficiary for mankind.
