DIET AND EXERCISE FOR GARBHINI PARICHARYA: APPROACHES TOWARDS DOSHIC BALANCE DURING PREGNANCY

ABSTRACT

Garbhini paricharya is one of the important aspects of medical science and ayurveda mentioned various approaches for the same. There are many changes in Doshic or elemental component inside the body during this period. These changes may lead physiological alteration and sometimes pathological manifestation. Vata, Pitta and Kapha Dosha alter biochemical responses in body during pregnancy. Sometimes excess aggravation of Vata, Pitta and Kapha Dosha may causes pathological complaint which can be cure by appropriate exercise and diet plan. This article presented dietary and exercise related consideration for the management of clinical complainants related to doshic imbalance in pregnancy.
