Abstract
ENVIRONMENT-ASSISTED GREEN APPROACH AGNPS BY NUTMEG (MYRISTICA FRAGRANS): INHIBITION POTENTIAL ACCUSTOMED TO PHARMACEUTICALS

ABSTRACT

The synthesis of metal nanoparticles using the green approach is the great interest in term of nanotechnology. The present works, deals with the silver nanoparticles were synthesized by using the Bark Extract and Seed Extract of Myristica fragrans. The synthesized nanoparticles were characterized by UV–vis spectrophotometer, X-ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning electron microscope (SEM), Energy dispersive X- ray analysis (EDAX) and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR). UV- observation is 460 nm in the UV-Vis spectra for bark and seed synthesized silver nanoparticles reveals the reduction of silver metal ions into silver nanoparticles. The XRD analysis contributed the crystalline nature of the synthesized silver nanoparticles. The SEM images shows that the bark and seed synthesized silver nanoparticles were within the some of spherical and polydispersed respectively, the FTIR was identify the responsible functional groups involved in the synthesis of silver nanoparticles. Further, the antibacterial assay of the green approached silver nanoparticles was examined against gram positive and gram negative pathogen of Bacillus subtilis and Klebsiella planticola. This antibacterial results use of silver nanoparticles appears to be an important issue in medicine and related fields.
