TREATMENT STRATEGY AND BIO ANALYTICAL METHODS FOR ESTIMATION OF ANTI DIABETIC AGENTS IN THEIR BIOLOGICAL SAMPLES –A REVIEW

ABSTRACT

This paper describes treatment strategy and the various bio-analytical methods reported for quantitative estimation of various drugs in biological fluids, which are used in the treatment of Diabetis mellitus. Quantification of drugs in biological fluids is always typical task due to the matrix effect and real time concentration in the in vivo systems. For the toxicity studies, bio analytical method is pre requisite. Quantification of active drug moiety in the presence of the metabolites and other biological products is typical task for the analyst, but in spite of this for pharmacokinetic application method is mandatory for estimation metabolites and the drug moieties to assess the therapeutic efficacy of drug moieties.
