ABSTRACT
By using NGS technologies, rapid advances in cancer genomics to uncover diverse microbial communities have been uncovered. NGS-based technologies for genomics, transcriptomics, and epigenetics are increasingly used to identify individual cells. Researchers will be able to uncover new and potentially unexpected biological discoveries by analyzing single cells, as opposed to traditional profiling methods that assess bulk populations. RNA-sequencing, for example, can reveal complex and rare cell populations, reveal regulatory relationships between genes, and track the trajectories of distinct cell types over time. This presentation will discuss challenges associated with single-cell isolation and library preparation and computational analysis pipelines for RNA-seq data analysis. Further advances in molecular biology and available bioinformatics tools will significantly facilitate these sequencing technologies' basic science and medical applications.
Keywords: RNA sequencing (RNA-seq), next-generation sequencing (NGS), gene expressions.
