NOVEL DRUG DELIVERY TECHNIQUES FOR THE TREATMENT OF WOUNDS: A REVIEW

ABSTRACT

In recent years, novel technologies have revolutionized the field of wound healing, offering promising solutions to improve patient outcomes and enhance the healing process. Wound healing is a complex physiological process involving multiple stages and advancements in technology have paved the way for innovative approaches to accelerate healing, reduce complications, and improve overall wound care management. Traditional methods of wound healing, such as dressings, sutures, and staples, have been the mainstay of wound management for centuries. While these methods are effective to some extent, they often have limitations in promoting optimal healing and preventing complications. This has led to the exploration and development of novel technologies that harness the power of scientific advancements to address the challenges associated with wound healing.
