DEVELOPMENT AND VALIDATION OF HPLC AND UV-VISIBLE SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC METHOD FOR THE PHARMACEUTICAL DOSAGE FORM AND BIOLOGICAL FLUID –REVIEW

K. Sonia* and Dr. M. Nappinnai

ABSTRACT

Many methods are emerging for the method development and validation of pharmaceutical dosage form and biological fluid out of which High performance liquid chromatography method and UV & Visible method are used today. HPLC is a powerful analytical technique which is able to detect, separate and quantify the drug. A number of chromatographic parameter were analysed to optimize the method like sample pretreatment, choosing mobile phase, column, detector selection. This review article helps to understand nature of the drug moiety thereby method development is possible.

Keywords: Method development, validation, instrumentation.
