ABSTRACT
The chemistry of life in all its forms whether it be human, animal, plant, or microorganism is the focus of biochemistry, which is possibly the most singular of all academic disciplines. As a result of this, biochemistry is now a fundamental subject that is studied in a variety of fields, including agriculture, biotechnology, biomedical engineering, home science, and other areas of the life sciences (botany, zoology, microbiology, and genetics). Students in these disciplines should have a fundamental understanding of the concepts and principles of biochemistry, as well as their applications, even though biochemistry is a very expansive field of study. This book, titled "Fundamentals of Biochemistry," is a redistillation of our knowledge, condensing the core of the topic in a condensed form. It will fulfil the criteria of the curriculum for beginning students learning biochemistry in a variety of fields. The complexity of the structures and reactions taught in biochemistry might be intimidating to a lot of pupils. This book is going to be a godsend for students who are like that because most of the structures have been removed from it without sacrificing any of the topic knowledge, including the most recent advancements. This book, which is written in straightforward English and features color drawings, is intended to pique the readers' curiosity and inspire them to study as much as they can about the topic in as little time as possible. Developing clear notions in biochemistry will be made easier with the help of the summary and the biological and clinical concepts. The pupils will be prepared to confidently tackle the tests thanks to the self- assessment assignments (Essays, MCQs and Fill in the blanks).
